Summer is a time when we commemorate the birth of our nation that holds dear the principles of liberty, equality, and fraternity. It is a time when we celebrate the remarkable journey towards independence undertaken by our great nation, the United States of America.

Let us also remember that among the courageous men who laid the foundation for our nation's freedom, many were distinguished Masons. Our Founding Fathers, who tirelessly dedicated themselves to the cause of liberty, were guided by the timeless values and teachings of Freemasonry.

As we honor their legacy, let us reaffirm our commitment to upholding the principles that they fought so valiantly to secure. May the spirit of independence inspire us to be pillars of strength, justice, and compassion in our own lives and in our interactions with others.

During this time of celebration, as fireworks light up the night sky and we gather with loved ones to celebrate, let us carry the light of Masonic principles within us.
